Paradise on Earth

Me, my husband and our two years old daughter visited Seychelles in November 2018.
We have had two amazing weeks in the Archipelago called Seychelles and spend a few days at each of the three most inhabited island.
After landing in Mahe, we took a small almost panoramic plane to go to Praslin.
Praslin left us speechless, maybe because we visited first this island or because having the most famous and best paradise beaches on Earth.
The beaches we visited were Anse Lazio & Anse Georgette, the best beaches on Praslin.

Anse LazioAnse Lazio Anse GeorgetteAnse Georgette We were staying at Hotel Berjaya Praslin Resort. We also went one day to Raffles, having lunch at the hotel, and using their facilities and enjoying ourselves at the beach.
The locals are so kind and child friendly.
The Seychellois cuisine is influenced by African, Chinese, English, French and Indian traditions.
We were mostly eating the fresh local fruits and fish prepared on creole style, was all we were looking for from food, while sipping coconut water on breathtaking beaches!

In about 15 minutes we arrived in La Digue, the smallest of the visited islands.
The life in La Digue goes slower, the atmosphere here is laid-back and serene.
Cars are barely seen to passing by, the main transportation is bikes.

The accommodations on La Digue are mostly villas, self catering, bed and breakfast and of course two more luxury resorts: La Digue Island Lodge and Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie.
We have visited both and spend time there having cocktails and lunches, having the marvelous views on the infinity pool towards the beach.

Incredible feeling swimming with the huge fish around us, we all loved it.
Also the way to reach the beach goes through L'Union Estate & Anse Source d'Argent, a lot of palm trees and vanilla plants.

TortoisTortois After La Digue we get back at Mahe island in the port of Victoria, the capital of Seychelles with catamaran, which takes us a bit more then an hour.
Mahe is the biggest of the island, we find our accommodation which was located in the middle of the island in the hill among tropical gardens, which makes it a great starting point for exploring the island and gives different perspective on the islands, since we have been mostly staying at the beach side.

In Mahe we have been to Port Launay North Beach in Constance Ephelia Seychelles, Baie Lazare beach, Petite Anse at Four Seasons Resort, also to the Au Cap region on the beach there and besides Victoria we visited as well Eden Island.

The weather was all the time around 30-32 degrees, warm and sunny, two nights it happened to rain but in the morning was again perfect weather.
We had great time together, enjoying and exploring the most beautiful islands on the Earth.
