This is a charming 4 bedroom house on the beach facing Mahe.
The island had no power for 2 days , but this did not spoil our time at the Villa. The downside was that the owners went on holiday at the same time. The staff who remained were excellent
Half-board is a necessity as there are no shops or restaurants on the island. The food was home cooking and was good.
We would recommend 2 or 3 days maximum on the island.
We kayaked every day and there are secluded beaches and snorkel spots.
I think the owners could be more flexible with the transfer from Eden Jetty to the Villa. It is only 5 minutes in the boat but we had to wait almost 2 hours before we were collected on the 10am boat.
We spent our first few days on Cerf Island, about 10 minutes by boat from Mahè. It was very family-like here, the staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very spacious and clean, although a little worn. The villa is right on the beach and when the weather is good you are rewarded with a fantastic sunset. There are also kayaks available for free.

The hotel's taxi boat operates daily between Mahé (Eden Island) and Cerf Island at the following times: Mahé - Cerf: 10:30 am, 01:30 pm & 4.00 pm Cerf - Mahé: 10:00 am, 01:00 pm, 03:30 pm & 05:00 pm* *Departure transfer at 05:00 pm costs €30 per person (children 6-11 years: €15). - Meeting point for embarkation and disembarkation: Eden Island Jetty, in front of the Board Walk Restaurant. - Transfer for arrival and departure (scheduled): free of charge - Additional return transfer (scheduled): €15/adult and €7/child (6-11 years). - Additional return journey (not scheduled): €60/adult and €30/child (6-11 years) - Boat transfers are not available before 06:00 am and after 06:00 pm.
