When we arrived, Ean greeted us very warmly and showed us everything. He lives in the complex himself and is actually always there and can be very helpful if you have any questions. However, I must note that we found errors or incorrect information in the description of the accommodation on Mahè: If the description states that the room size is 74 square meters and I measured it and came up with 31 square meters (including balcony x 0.5), then that is simply wrong, misleading and even fraudulent. To make matters worse, there was no room service on the first day after our arrival. When we asked, we were told that the whole house had no service because the ladies had not turned up for work... The complex is beautiful and thrives on the fantastic view and the beautiful pool. We had a car and that's for the better. The nearest usable beach, restaurant, bars, etc. is a steep 1.5 km walk, which you can walk but don't have to... Compared to our first accommodation, we unfortunately had to accept compromises in terms of cleanliness and service. The garden is unloved and actually unusable. The pool is really beautiful but should be cleaned at some point (on La Digue the pool was cleaned daily by a robot!!) on Mahè not once! At breakfast I wanted a third after two coffees which they kindly offered us. As my wife doesn't drink tea or coffee I ordered one for her and got it. Toast could not be reordered and you had to choose between pancakes or egg dishes, for example; half and half was not an option. The meals were always freshly prepared and sometimes took a little longer. But you're on holiday, not on the run! What was very nice was that we could stay in the room as long as we wanted. Our flight left at 6 p.m. and we stayed in the hotel, pool and room until 2 p.m. Others didn't fly until 11 p.m. and they too were able to stay until the end for free!

The access from the road to the property is very steep and a challenge, especially when it rains.
