Welcome from the charming owners. We really liked it. The gentleman even lent us a barbecue to grill our meat on the sand. TOP A very small remark, perhaps a few more accessories in the kitchen. (no corkscrew, few plates and saucepans and fridge did not work very well)

The local hosts Annielle and her family, who live in the house next door, were very friendly, helpful and warm. The accommodation is located relatively at the end of a street, at the end of which the trail leads to "Caiman Bar" and another tram beach - Coco de Mer. Since you are travelling on the island by bike, everything is perfectly accessible. There are only a few cars. Snorkelling and swimming are not possible on all beaches - due to the surf or the shallow water on the reef. You just can't get enough of this place. It is pure relaxation, minimalism and enjoyment! Another recommendation is the beautifully located bar: "Karim's Fruit Bar" on Anse Severe. Sunset with a delicious fresh fruit cocktail or Takamaka cocktail.

After I gave the rented bikes a small inspection (brakes and chain), we drove about 3.5 km into town. Everyone here cycles (almost like in Tübingen). La Passe is deeply relaxed. The beaches are a postcard idyll. The Anse Grosse Roche is not suitable for swimming. Too flat, too many stones and corals... The Anse Severe, Anse Gaulettes, Anse Patates and the Grand Anse are worth it. A nice bike tour through the island. We skipped Source d'Argent due to overcrowding and the keeping of the turtles. We didn't feel the entry fee was justified.
