You leave the resort and fall almost directly into the bath-temperature sea water. There are enough loungers available and there is always a shady spot somewhere under low-hanging palm fronds. The STORY is a well-maintained complex with a swimming pool and a pool bar with seating for a small snack, for example. The range extends from freshly prepared salads (Greek with feta or with prawns) to burgers and fries. Unfortunately, the bartenders are not very familiar with mixing various cocktails, some drink was always mixed incorrectly or something was missing, but they were friendly and nice. There are plenty of parasols. The junior suites are very spacious but you can see their age and a little wear and tear. The rooms were cleaned properly every day. The restaurants offer good food, there is something for everyone. We were very disappointed with the highly praised Seychima restaurant, unfortunately it was not what was promised, Indian chefs prepare Japanese dishes. We come from Düsseldorf, a Japanese stronghold, and we can certainly speak for ourselves. The breakfast buffet was generously laid out, from fruit and fresh juices to egg dishes, there was everything, as you would expect from a good star hotel. Unfortunately, there were too many pigeons at breakfast, which were flying around wildly in the open room, trying to grab something, not very pleasant. There was also a lot of pigeon droppings on the floor and it was not very clean. The service staff at breakfast was very moody, more mean than nice. The staff at reception are very competent and very helpful and always have an open ear. From our point of view, the STORY is a good place to relax for a few days, go for a relaxed swim and it is suitable for long walks on the beach at the beautiful Beau Vallon, where there are many other things to discover.
