A dream apartment, large and perfectly furnished. Our landlord was extremely courteous, helpful and available at all times. We felt completely at home. This is a vacation from the first to the last minute.

Although the Seychelles are really clean even off the roads, this was unfortunately not the case for the private road to L'Ilot Beach Chalets. When we arrived, Owen (presumably the owner) seemed clueless and surprised; the accommodation had not yet been cleaned. Speaking of room cleaning: During the entire stay (8 days), the accommodation was not cleaned once. The garbage was not collected, nor were fresh towels provided or the bed linen changed. To be honest, this experience was very negative considering the price of the overnight stay. The quality of the accommodation in no way corresponds to a 4-star standard. The ceiling paneling, especially in the bedroom, was infested with termites, the kitchen was in a very dirty state, and there were still hairs from the previous guests in the bathroom drain. We were very surprised that we had to wash the bed linen and towels ourselves, and we also had to buy toilet paper and garbage bags. The owner Owen was not available during our stay. The security standard was also worth considering - the front door lock was more like a child's bedroom lock and the patio door couldn't be locked at all. There was no break-in, but we didn't feel particularly safe there. The entire apartment complex was very unkempt and the paths to the beach were neglected and littered with rubbish. The only positive thing about this accommodation was the view of the beach, but it must also be said that several new apartments are being built right next door and the construction noise spoiled the relaxation.
