The house is a little dated but very comfortable the kitchen is old but we have always cooked and we had a great time and if we needed something we asked the hotel who always solved the problems All the hotel staff was very kind and available we had a wonderful 10 day holiday !!!!!!

Tutto il personale dell'albergo era molto gentile e disponibile abbiamo fatto una bellissima vacanza di 10 giorni!!!!!!

We stayed with 4 adults and 3 children (12,14,16) for 10 days in the Castello Beach Villa on Praslin. We booked through SeyVillas. As always, everything worked perfectly here. However, the SeyVillas website speaks of a fine pudgy beach. On the part of Anse Kerlan where the hotel and the villa are located, there is only an approx. 40 meter long section of beach which is basically permanently flooded by the water. Here the description is completely wrong. The villa itself is very large and super spacious. In total there are 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The large area on which the villa stands provides a lot of privacy and you have your own pool. The facility is no longer new and worn but clean. Unfortunately, the ambience doesn't match the many things that don't work there at all. The villa belongs to the Castello Beach Hotel. You take your breakfast and all other meals in the restaurant. And when it comes to service, there are big minus points. The service there is, with the exception of Denise, just below ground. There was NEVER a day when everything was fine. It started on the first day with the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms. It didn't work. And the hotel didn't manage to fix it by the end of the vacation. The breakfast is just bad. Fruit that was stale. In addition there was a maximum of 2 types of sausage (partially rancid) and one type of cheese. It often happened that you had to wait up to 30 minutes until it was refilled if something was sold out. Every day something was missing at the table. Sometimes it was spoons. Sometimes napkins. Plates on other days. Due to the size of our group, we always had the same table. It is therefore incomprehensible that these basics are not mastered. Everything has to be on the table 7 times. Coffee orders sometimes take 30 minutes. Unfortunately experienced it myself 3 times. Listless service staff, except for the Denise already mentioned above, give you the feeling that you are a burden. Even two conversations with the front desk brought no improvement. Our pool was not usable for 2 days because the staff didn't manage to clean it and it turned green. Only after addressing different people 5 times was action taken. The wifi is free. But one disaster. If it were just slow but stable, it would still be fine. But it can happen more often that you are logged out. The new registration then sometimes takes hours. I've been to the Seychelles for the 5th time and have had everything from a simple apartment to a 5* hotel, but unfortunately this is the worst in terms of breakfast and, above all, service. Unfortunately, this hotel cannot be recommended at all.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern (12,14,16) für 10 Tage in der Castello Beach Villa auf Praslin. Gebucht haben wir über SeyVillas. Hier hat alles , wie immer, hervorragend funktioniert.

Jedoch wird auf der SeyVillas Internetseite von einem feinprudrigen Strand gesprochen. An dem Teil der Anse Kerlan wo sich das Hotel und die Villa befindet gibt es lediglich einen ca. 40 Meter langen Strandabschnitt der aber im Grunde dauerhaft vom Wasser überspült wird. Hier ist die Beschreibung völlig falsch.

Die Villa selbst ist sehr groß und super geräumig. Insgesamt gibt es 5 Schlafzimmer und 3 Bäder. Das große Areal auf dem die Villa steht vermittelt viel Privatsphäre und man hat einen eigenen Pool. Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr neu und abgewohnt aber sauber.

Leider passt das Ambiente nicht zu den vielen Dingen die dort überhaupt nicht funktionieren. Die Villa gehört zum Castello Beach Hotel. Man nimmt sein Frühstück und alle weiteren Mahlzeiten im Restaurant ein. Und beim Service gibt es fette Minuspunkte . Der Service dort ist , bis auf Ausnahme von Denise, einfach nur unterirdisch.
Es gab KEINEN Tag an dem alles in Ordnung war.

Es ging am ersten Tag mit der Klimaanlage in einem der Schlafzimmer los. Sie funktionierte nicht. Und das Hotel hat es nicht geschafft diese bis zum Ende des Urlaubes zu reparieren.

Das Frühstück ist einfach schlecht. Obst welches abgestanden war. Dazu gab es max. 2 Sorten Wurst (teilweise ranzig) und eine Sorte Käse . Häufiger kam es vor das man bis zu 30 Minuten warten musste bis dieses nachgelegt wurde wenn etwas vergriffen war. Es fehlte jeden Tag irgendwas am Tisch. Manchmal waren es Löffel. Manchmal Servietten. An anderen Tagen Teller. Wir hatten durch unsere Gruppengröße immer den gleichen Tisch. Daher unverständlich das man diese Basics nicht beherrscht. Alles muss 7x auf den Tisch.

Kaffeebestellungen dauern auch schon mal 30 Minuten. Leider selbst 3x erlebt.

Lustlose Servicekräfte , außer die bereits oben genannte Denise, vermitteln einem das Gefühl das man eine Last ist.

Selbst zwei Gespräche mit der Rezeption brachten keinerlei Besserung.

Unser Pool war für 2 Tage nicht nutzbar da die Mitarbeiter es nicht geschafft haben ihn zu säubern und er dadurch grün wurde. Erst nach 5-maligem ansprechen unterschiedlicher Personen wurde gehandelt.

Das Wlan ist kostenlos . Aber eine einzige Katastrophe. Wenn es nur langsam wäre, aber stabil, wäre es ja noch in Ordnung. Aber es kann häufiger passieren das man ausgeloggt wird . Die Neuanmeldung dann dauert teilweise Stunden.

Ich bin jetzt das 5. Mal auf den Seychellen gewesen und habe vom einfachen Appartement bis zum 5* Hotel alles gehabt aber dieses ist leider das Schlechteste was Frühstück und vor allem Service angeht.

Dieses Hotel ist leider überhaupt nicht weiterzuempfehlen.
