Very nice, spacious and clean accommodation with good air conditioning and a great terrace and a nice landlady. The only problem was getting there, as there were no signs. The steep road just before the accommodation took some getting used to, but it was doable.

The Belle Montagne Holiday estate shines white under the blue of the sky. The lush greenery of the tropical garden are all around, hiding this charming building from the outside world. Enjoy the large garden with its tortoises and rabbits, or spend some quiet time on the terrace, surrounded by nature. The calm, beautiful location of the property is about 15 minutes away from Anse Barbarons, where you will be greeted by palm trees and takamaka trees, as well as a sandy beach. At high tide, you can discover the stunning underwater world of the Seychelles, thanks in part to the offshore reef, so be sure to remember your snorkelling equipment! Swimming and sunbathing might make you a little peckish, but thankfully there is food available in restaurants right at the beach! Or if you can muster the energy, you can also buy your own groceries and prepare a delicious evening meal in your fully-fitted kitchen.

Whether you are a professional, beginner, or advanced cook, the fully-fitted kitchen will be right up your street. Prepare freshly-caught fish here in the open living/dining area, or take some exotic fruit right from the garden itself and enjoy a snack in the meantime. Each of the windows of the apartment allow the sun to shine in through the lush green leaves, ensuring that a holiday feeling is present throughout your stay, even when you are away from the beach. Sharp colours and a comfortable sofa ensure that the living room is cosy, while the bedrooms offer plenty of space for a relaxing night’s sleep, as well as all of your belongings. The mixture of heavy, warm wood, large mirrors, and sand-coloured tiles make this the perfect mixture of modernity and cosiness, while the bathroom rounds it all off as a small oasis of sorts.

Impressive beaches and, hilly, lush green landscapes are combined on Mahé like no other island in the Seychelles. Enjoy adventurous hiking tours and excursions to stunning beaches as well as the Morne Seychellois National Park. From the Belle Montagne Holiday estate, you can reach the park in around 20 minutes by car. The national park is named after the 900-metre peak of Mahé, the Morne Seychellois, making Mahé the tallest island in the Seychelles as well as the most-populated. Finally, the capital of the country, Victoria, can also be found on Mahé, around 30 minutes’ drive away.
