We received a very warm welcome in this guesthouse, which is located a little inland. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the super tasty, rich Creole food on our half board and it tasted good. The other amenities in our room, such as the kettle, air conditioning, etc., worked perfectly. Unfortunately, mosquito nets over the beds were missing and would have been very helpful. The mattresses should be replaced and we found the price of the bike on site too expensive for this "quality". However, on the day of departure, we were allowed to stay in the air-conditioned room until midday without any restrictions or extra charge, which we very gratefully accepted. The Villa Veuve is in the immediate vicinity of the Veuve Bird Reserve and it is not far by bike to the L'Union Estate Park. All in all, we were very happy with our accommodation here too.
