Full description

The holiday dream, especially for couples, is to have your own spacious apartment to yourselves, with plenty of comfort and privacy, perhaps with a view of the ocean or the green surroundings. All of that and more can be found at the Top View Retreat at the edge of the calm village of Anse la Mouche in the south-west of Mahé. These spacious self-catering apartments are separated into two quaint houses that sit next to each other, and offer excellent views from their private balconies and terraces of the nearby bay or the lush vegetation that surrounds the property, as well as some of the nearby hills.

Your apartment welcomes you in with a summer-like, maritime atmosphere. The numerous windows let in a comfortable breeze through the curtains, drifting into the interior, which is both tasteful and modern, with bright colours and plenty of wooden furniture, lending the interior its own island charm. The air-conditioned apartment consists of a bedroom with a cosy bed and a large wardrobe for your belongings, as well as a living and dining area with an inviting seating corner with a sofa and TV for a relaxing evening watching television. The spacious kitchen has all that you need to whip up a meal or two, and the chic bathroom rounds off the interior nicely.

The Top View Retreat is the ideal starting point for island tours with a rental car, although the surrounding area can also be discovered on-foot. Those who like hiking will find themselves right at home here, with the Glacis la Reserve Trail less than 5 km away, or the Kot Man Ya Exotic Flower Garden even closer, just 4 km away. There, you can see more than 200 tropical plant species. Meanwhile, the plant and spice garden, Jardin du Roi, is also well worth a visit and close by. This 25-hectare estate lies in the hills of Les Canelles, and is a mixture of a spice plantation, botanical garden, and a nature reserve.
