Reviews
Very quiet air conditioning, spacious, animals (geckos, crabs) are included, a bit noisy due to the nearby street
Translation (DE): GoogleTranslateVery clean and spacious, beautiful location on a slope in the midst of great nature next to giant tortoises. Dear and very friendly and uncomplicated owners. Unfortunately, the windows cannot be darkened, this toaster only browns from one side and the kettle takes forever and keeps switching off. The location is good, set back from the busy road, on the beach. However, a rental car is recommended, which can be ordered easily and cheaply from the rental company. Thank you for the nice stay.
Translation (DE): GoogleTranslateUnfortunately, we encountered cockroaches in the apartment on two days, unfortunately once on food at the kitchen table. There are also tiny ants running around on the kitchen counter, fridge and around the sinks. Larger specimens then cavort on the ground. Not extreme, but always new every day. Cobwebs in several corners of the room. In a closet, when we opened the closet door when we were explaining the apartment, a spider came directly towards us, which was then immediately killed by hand by the landlord. Apparently the inside of the closet hadn't been cleaned/opened for a long time. When we arrived on the first day, the whole apartment stank terribly of aerosol insecticide. That was very bad! Hardly bearable, we had headaches the first night. We only got the stench out of the apartment to some extent on the third day with the help of the air conditioning. The room safe in the bedroom was unusable because the landlord had no code for it, but this would come tomorrow, he had to look for it first! Apparently the previous tenant had closed the safe and forgotten the code, maybe there were still valuables in it (the statement was supposed to be funny). Of course we never got a new code for the safe... The couch in the room is almost unusable, it's so uncomfortable. In addition, there are often no lampshades on the ceiling, the bare bulbs glowing in the brightest neon color, terrible and extremely uncomfortable! The mini bench with connected table on the terrace also unusable, as much too small and flimsy constructed for 4 people. So we always had to have our dinner and breakfast in the room, which was a shame given the great weather. The larger terrace to the right of the house, which is still shown in the photos, no longer exists, there is now a flower bed! The garden in front of our accommodation is completely riddled with giant crab holes. There are two huge, almost new houses on the site, they were in a completely different condition than our Kate. The two small houses upstairs (each for only 2 people) are also in this deplorable condition, I took a look at them. Presumably the good ratings of the accommodation result from residents of these houses. Anyway, we were very disappointed! The main road leading past the house can be heard very, very loudly, despite the windows closed, unbearable on the WE with the passing cars of thugs Seychellois with fat music boxes inside, which are turned up to the stop. We didn't turn a blind eye to it. Thank goodness Friday and Saturday night only. The day before we left, we asked if we could use the house until the afternoon as our flight wasn't until 8 p.m. Then the statement, no, there would be tenants again on the day of our departure and they would have to clean from 10 a.m. When we came back at 3 p.m., the house had still not been cleaned, not even the garbage in the kitchen removed. An attempt had previously been made to sell us a day room for 60 euros, which of course we politely declined under the given circumstances. There is no way we would ever book our apartment again, nor would we recommend it to anyone!
